Exploring Private and Business Email: A Journey into Custom Domains

Business Email or Private Email

In general, a business email address refers to an email address that is used for professional or commercial purposes, usually associated with an organization, company, or workplace. A private email is an email address that is used for personal or non-business purposes, typically set up for an individual's use.

Custom Domain

A custom domain is a unique web address that is created to identify and access a particular website or web page. It is a way to personalize and brand a website by using a custom domain name instead of a generic, automatically assigned web address. For example, instead of using a web address provided by a website builder such as "www.yourwebsite.weebly.com," a custom domain would allow you to use a web address such as "www.yourwebsite.com." This can improve the credibility and professionalism of a website and make it easier for users to find and remember.

I've been knowing a lot last month that how we can have a custom domain and create a private email address i get to know about so many platforms like Namecheap, Zoho mail, Google Workspace I’ve even purchased my own custom domain via Namecheap and i have tried their Private Email service too also I’ve tried Google Workspace and Zoho Mail.

Email Hosting

Email hosting refers to the service of hosting email accounts on a remote server provided by a hosting service provider. This service allows users to access and manage their email accounts through a webmail interface or an email client like Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail. The provider is responsible for maintaining the email server and ensuring its uptime and security. Email hosting services typically offer more storage space, better security measures, and more features compared to free email services like Gmail or Yahoo Mail.

Advantages of hosting email

• Reliability: Hosting your email server provides a higher level of control over the delivery and storage of emails, leading to greater reliability.

• Increased Productivity: Self-hosted email systems often offer more advanced features and integrations than commercial email providers, allowing for increased efficiency and productivity.

Namecheap

Namecheap is a domain name registrar and web hosting company. It provides domain name registration services for various top-level domains (TLDs) such as .com, .net, .org, and many others. In addition to domain registration, Namecheap also offers web hosting, website builders, SSL certificates, email hosting, and other related services. The company is known for its affordable prices and easy-to-use platform, making it a popular choice for individuals and businesses looking to establish an online presence.

Zoho Mail

Zoho Mail is a cloud-based email hosting service provided by Zoho Corporation. It provides professional email hosting for businesses, organizations, and individuals. Zoho Mail offers features such as webmail, email migration, email archiving, and email filtering. It also integrates with other Zoho productivity tools such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Calendar, and Zoho Docs. Zoho Mail is designed for users who require a secure, reliable, and customizable email hosting solution that is accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. It offers a range of pricing plans for different needs, with varying levels of storage, email accounts, and features.

Google Workspace

Google Workspace, formerly known as G Suite, is a set of productivity and collaboration tools provided by Google. It includes Gmail for email, Google Drive for file storage and collaboration, Google Calendar for scheduling, Google Meet for video conferencing, and several other tools for document creation and management tasks. Google Workspace is designed for businesses, schools, and organizations, and it offers a range of features such as custom email addresses, shared calendars, and integrated collaboration tools to help teams work more efficiently and effectively. The platform is accessible from anywhere with an internet connection and offers robust security and privacy features to protect sensitive data. Google Workspace is available as a monthly or annual subscription and offers flexible pricing options for businesses of all sizes.

Conclusion

Well after trying all these three services I can definitely say these all are good services on their own they provide the service that they promise to provide and about Namecheap it's for those who just want to use only one or less email account it's like you just host the email and forget about for other things they provide IMAP connection and SMTP Connection on their all plans well they provide 2 months of free trial so it's really good to have also if I don't mention about their live support team then it will be big mistake from my side their live support team were so helpful to me since I was really new to this all things I didn't even know how to set up a TXT record there are so many things that I had no idea about but their team help me out and they connect instantly and that's what made me to stick with them for a while I'm still using their services but as I wanted to try more and wanted to learn more I've decided to try Zoho mail, to be honest, I've created an account in Google Workspace first and and then Zoho Mail and, as newbie i was really bad in this I've deleted my Google workspace account a lot of time and created back after some time when i felt now i can give time to learn I've deleted Zoho Account too one time but but i give one more time and this time my mind was saying finish what you have started and i did after using and exploring to Zoho Mail i get know about DMARC and with Google Workspace SPF Record, Dkim Record and more.
